Conclusion
Looking over all of the analysis', it is clear to me that tourism 'honeypots' are not sustainable. The challenges they create far outweigh the benefits: the possible sustainable sector being the environmental.
Looking at the National Park authorities aims, it is questionable on whether or not the aims have actually been met. Below is a table reminding us of the aims to question this.

As you can see, it is unsure whether or not aim 1 is being achieved, referring to my environmental analysis, you can see that on the one hand the beauty is being kept yet is questionable as to whether is can be preserved for future generations to enjoy due to the emissions, noise pollution and litter pollution tourists are giving out whilst visiting Castleton or any 'honeypot' in general.
Unfortunately, economically and socially i do not believe that they are sustainable. The community are just not benefiting from tourism and the economy is a permanant rollercoaster at different times of year.
If you look back at the Aims in the Planning section, you can see how tourism has influenced house prices and also affected jobs due to the seasons tourists visit. The environment seems to be sustained and maintained although many cars and other modes of transport used throughout Castleton by tourists are adding much carbon emissions. Tourism has bought many new facilities to the community however the community itself does not seen happy with the amount of tourists swarming around their home.
Tourism does promote Castleton as a whole though, it shows it in a good light and grabs the media's attention, meaning the public are attracted to it and learn more about National Parks.
