I was disappointed how i was unable to collect all of my data research due to time restrictions; the time restrictions are something i found challenging. Next time i would give myself an extra day to carry out my research to combat this as it really held me back. My lack of this data caused problems as i could not the use it in my analysis to strengthen my research which would help distinguish the challenges and benefits in tourism in 'honeypots'.
I enjoyed the data presentation section the most - deciding which graphs to use, etc - and i feel it turn out exceptionally well. The National Park Authority may benefit from my research as they can see which aims are and aren't working out, this could help them in developing the methods they use to stick to those aims. I organised the study to help it run smoothly by setting myself deadlines in which i had to finish each section. I also gave myself more time to do sections which are worth more marks in the mark scheme. I made my data accurate and up to date by repeating it and presenting my averages and doing it in a time period in which my work has been written. I was extremely pleased with my Landuse Map results as it shows how tourism is spreading through Castleton. The new skills i have learnt are how to run to a deadline and how to make a very professional looking website. This study could support my ambitions beyond Erasmus Darwin Academy as it helps me to know the problems or benefits of tourism if i wish to visit one in the future.
My research could be used by other organisations if the wish to run a similar study in the future and use my research as secondary research. To improve my study i could go at different times of year/ seasons/ days, as the data may vary. This research could help other places beyond Castleton as it show how 'honeypots' are affected, meaning that there could be similar problems in other places suggesting they could concluse solutions from my research on how to fix it.
